Bryan Uhlenbrock has been a mainstay of the local folk scene for nearly a decade now.  A multi-facteted writer and performer, his voice is powerful and his playing is rock solid.  Bryan's original compositions range from the gently touching to the raucously funny, and his selection of cover material is eclectic and sure.  His backing group, the Purloined Strings, consists of Tom Molyneaux on mandolin and tenor guitar, and Mark Cheley on bass, both currently involved in a number of other groups.
