Bryan has been active in the SF Folk Music Club for most of this decade. (No wonder the modern world is in such a state!)
His listing in the program guide to the 2008 SF Free Folk Festival spoke of his "larger than life voice" and "larger than life presence"...he was always sort of tickled by that description and wishes to thank Richard Rice here and now for the hyperbole.
Bryan performs a spirited blend of covers and original songs, often accompanied by a varied assortment of talented friends. Currently making his living as an account representative for Saga Musical Instruments, Bryan's interests span several different fields. Perhaps his greatest claim to fame comes from the realm of the imagination, as the fictional denizens of Springfield USA can attest: Bryan has scripted a handful of stories for Bart Simpson Comics, with more in the works. He is also a co-founder of WonderCon, the largest annual comic book convention in Northern California, where he served as Director of Guests and Programming for the first dozen years of its existence.
One of these days, if he can keep his attention focused on any one project for a reasonable amount of time, he intends to finish up the CD of original songs he's been working on for a couple of years now. |
