Duck River Band

The Duck River Band is an eclectic string band influenced by traditional and old-time music with a touch of country, swing, blues, and Grateful Dead.

Members of the Duck River Band: Stefan Schneider on guitar, Chuck Rosene on bass and harmonica, Laurel Liefert on banjo, Sharon Dolan on fiddle, and Jim Tepperman on mandolin and guitar. Everybody sings.

Sharon, Stefan and Jim met at Chad’s weekly student jam sessions in 2005 and from that auspicious meeting the Duck River Band was born. (Thanks, Chad!)

Chad Manning is an East Bay Fiddler and teacher. He has played with David Grisman’s Bluegrass Experience for the last 6 years and currently plays regularly with Laurie Lewis.
