stevegardnerSteve Gardner

Learn about the dark side of folk in this short but intensive class. A lecture about the history will be embellished with performances and readings of some of the creepiest material in an otherwise upbeat genre.

Steve Gardner is a fiddle player and multi instrumentalist, founding member of Culann's Hounds, Founder and Artistic Director of Roots Music Marin (rootsmusicmarin.com) and an Instructor at Blue Bear School of American Music. He has performed internationally with Culann's Hounds and Sony Recording artist Danni Leigh, appeared as a guest artist with Blues Traveler, recorded with Grammy winning producer Bobby Ozuna. He has performed the national anthem for the SF Giants many times. He resides in Fairfax, CA.
